PEP

Accessible Transport

PEP has 7 accessible minibuses, including an accessible MPV and 1 youth bus which service over 80 affiliated groups in the North Edinburgh area.

PEP provides transport to local youth groups, churches, older people's groups, schools etc.

Through our participation in ECTOG (Edinburgh Community Transport Operators Group) PEP has been assigned as the community transport operator for the northern quadrant of the city. We provide community transport on request from Cramond to Leith.

All our buses are fully maintained, driven by qualified MIDAS drivers and are supported by trained volunteer passenger assistants.

Shopping Trips

PEP runs a twice weekly shopping trip to various shopping centres in Edinburgh. The service enables older people from the North Edinburgh area to access shops that they may otherwise not be able to get to.

The shopping trip also allows time for a cup of tea in the shop's cafe's. This ensures that everyone can socialise and enjoy the shopping experience more.

The trips are run on Mondays and Tuesdays and provide the shoppers with 2 full hours of shopping followed by a relaxing cup of tea.

The buses provide a door to door service.
