Visiting &Information Service

If you are looking for advice or information on services for older people in North Edinburgh or the city, please read our A-Z or contact the office on 0131 315 4466. If we don't already know the answer to your problem we'll do our best to help you find it.

Visiting Service: PEP provides a visiting service for people who normally live on their own and are returning home after a stay in hospital. Our visitor makes contact with the service user in hospital and arranges to visit on a regular basis when they return home. This will continue until they feel able to get involved in the wider community once again. We can also provide assistance at this stage in these matters.

Housebound Visiting Service: We also provide a visiting service for people who are housebound. This service aims to alleviate the isolation experienced by people who can't get out. Our trained and skilled volunteers visit on a regular weekly basis and provide companionship. The visitors can also help by providing information on activities happening around the area.
